Black-Owned Digital Firm Works With Black Nonprofit Organization
Wyandanch, Long Island, New York — Witness Project of Long Island officially debuts their website with the help of Blue Surge Marketing Agency, a local website design firm based in Suffolk County. The new website serves as a community hub and portal where visitors can learn about breast and cervical cancer and seek screening options.
As a branch of the Witness Project, the Long Island chapter, directed by Anika Stewart, serves to increase breast cancer screening and mammography among underserved African American women in Nassau and Suffolk County. Blue Surge Marketing Agency was hired as the firm to complete the undertaking of the website build. Led by Godson Michel, the team at Blue Surge successfully designed what now becomes the digital foundation of the organization’s backbone.
Site features include the ability to support and fund the nonprofit organization through online donations, find out about upcoming events, learn about outreach programs, and get involved by volunteering.
The Witness Project of Long Island is committed to making a difference in breast and cervical cancer survival by advocating early detection and improving awareness for our women, families, and communities.
